Vancouver police investigating after triple stabbing in Yaletown

Three individuals were hospitalized with non-life-threatening stab wounds after a random attack in Yaletown, Vancouver, at approximately 7:30 a. m. on Friday. The Vancouver Police Department responded to reports of multiple stabbings near the seawall by David Lam Park. Officers discovered three victims who were subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment.

Cst. Tania Visintin confirmed the victims are expected to recover, stating, “Thankfully, they will be OK. ” The suspect, a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, fled the scene before police arrived and is described as standing between 5’3″ and 5’7″ tall with a slim build and long, dark hair. Witnesses reported that she wore an oversized black leather jacket and tight dark pants, possibly with a leopard-print shirt or scarf. Authorities have launched an investigation and are urging anyone with relevant information or video footage to contact them.

This incident underscores ongoing concerns about random violence in public spaces and the need for increased safety measures.
