Edison High School announces Class of 2025

The commencement ceremony for Edison High School's Class of 2025 took place on May 30, celebrating academic and extracurricular achievements. Co-valedictorians Zachary Kuntz and Madison Somerville, along with Salutatorian Sydney Frampton, stood out among their peers. Somerville, who performed as the school mascot and was crowned homecoming queen, aims to major in communications at Richmond University after receiving the Makenzie Smith Memorial Scholarship. Kuntz, a member of the football and wrestling teams, earned the Governor’s Merit Scholarship and plans to study biochemistry and biological anthropology at Wright State University. Frampton excelled in performing arts and academics, receiving the Arion Award and the John Phillips Sousa Award, and will attend Kent State University.

Other notable graduates include Coleman Granatir, who plans to study mechanical engineering at Ohio State University, and Myah Howell, who intends to pursue nursing at West Virginia University. Each graduate received honors diplomas and participated in various school organizations, showcasing their dedication and leadership. The event exemplified the spirit of achievement and community involvement at Edison High School.

Executive Director Rebekah Cohen Morris emphasized that this funding will amplify their efforts to assist women in crisis pregnancies.
