Harding Drama Club is off to see the Wizard of Oz

Harding Middle School's Drama Club is set to present “The Wizard of Oz” on May 16-17 at Steubenville High School's auditorium, featuring a cast of 109 students. Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $8 for students, with a special matinée for elementary students on May 15. Director Abby Macre noted this is the largest cast to date, reflecting the club's growing popularity. The Steubenville High School Thespians and tech classes are collaborating on the production, providing valuable experience for high school students. Notable cast members include Lucy Collaros as Dorothy and Isaiah Ramsey as the Scarecrow, among others.

Macre expressed gratitude for the support from SHS drama teacher Scott Wolodkin in organizing the show. The performances aim to celebrate teamwork and creativity among young actors. Tickets can be bought at the venue or through an online platform.

Completion of exterior lighting at Stanton and John Gregg Elementary schools is expected by the end of October.
