The lone run for Pittsburgh came from Ke’Bryan Hayes, who hit a double that scored Oneil Cruz in the sixth. This victory signifies the Cardinals' growing momentum as they continue their winning streak. Contreras extended his on-base streak to nine games, walking twice during the match. The Pirates, meanwhile, are struggling, having lost six straight games and nine of their last ten.
