Edison Christian athletes get lesson

Rebekah Cohen Morris inspired Edison High School students with her personal journey and work as executive director of the Aim Women’s Center during a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting. Since taking her role in October 2024, Morris has expanded the center's services and is establishing a maternity home for expectant mothers in need. Her transition from a public high school teacher and Doraville City Council member to a nonprofit leader demonstrates a commitment to serving women and families in the Ohio Valley. Student leader G. Zimmerman organized the event, emphasizing the profound impact of Morris's testimony on the students. Many expressed interest in volunteering at the women’s center after her presentation. Morris will serve as the featured speaker at the upcoming Sycamore FCA Summer Camp, scheduled from June 16-20, which will run daily from 3:30 p. m. to 5 p.
