Toronto, OHLocal News

Mary J. Albaugh, founder and CEO of Amazing Grace Pillowcases Inc. , addressed the Woman’s Club of Steubenville at their April meeting held at Scaffidi’s Restaurant. She explained that her organization provides colorful pillowcases designed to bring comfort and hope to sick children, veterans, and nursing home patients. More than 30 volunteers contribute to the initiative, meeting monthly to sew and distribute the pillowcases across Ohio and West Virginia, including to the Ronald McDonald House in Akron and Pittsburgh.

During the meeting, members collected Easter treats for the Urban Mission, aiming to brighten the holiday for local children. The club's next meeting will take place on May 5, where retired teacher Michelle Fabbro will speak in observance of National Teacher Appreciation Week. The event will also recognize local high school students who received scholarships from the club. Albaugh encouraged those interested in supporting the cause to reach out to her with donations. The club continues to foster community engagement and support through its various initiatives.
