Police reports

Toronto, OHLocal News

Steubenville Police were busy on Monday, responding to a series of incidents that illustrate the complexities of community safety. A Greenwich Avenue resident reported a vehicle striking his home, leading police to find a driver who had lost control while trying to park. Another report involved a confrontation where a man claimed he was attacked with rocks, though the accused denied the allegations, citing his intoxication as a factor. Officers also attended to a situation involving homeless individuals living on the riverfront, advising them to relocate. In a separate case, police found a woman sleeping under a train bridge and asked her to leave the area.

An argument between two women escalated due to a child’s disrespectful behavior, prompting police to intervene. Additionally, officers dealt with parking complaints, resulting in several vehicles being towed for expired registrations. Collectively, these reports paint a picture of the various public safety challenges that Steubenville faces daily.
