Edison to perform Addams Family

Edison High School will present a musical performance of "The Addams Family" on Friday and Saturday, starting at 7 p. m. in the school auditorium. Ticket prices are set at $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, with free entry for children aged 3 and under. A total of 85 students in grades seven through 12 will take part, with key roles played by Nevaeh Hunter as Gomez and Leila Cable as Morticia.

According to Nick Hughes, the vocal department director, the production aims to be a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family. Attendees can also look forward to basket drawings, snack items for sale, and merchandise from past productions. The storyline revolves around Wednesday Addams keeping her relationship with a "normal" boyfriend secret from her mother, Morticia. The performance seeks to rekindle fond memories of the classic television series. Hughes promises a night filled with laughter and memorable moments for all.
