Looking a lot like Christmas
Volunteers gathered at the Follansbee Park gazebo to finalize plans for the Christmas in the Park festival, set for Saturday and Sunday. The festival will run from 10 a. m. to 7 p. m.
Saturday and from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Sunday, featuring around 70 vendors offering food, crafts, and other goods.
Proceeds will benefit the Follansbee R. E. A. C. H.
Program, which supports a local food pantry and children with special medical needs. Hood’s Pharmacy will administer flu shots at the Community House on Saturday, providing a valuable health service to attendees. Committee members, including co-chairs Stacey Williams and Bill Secrist, emphasized the event's role in fostering community engagement. The festival aims to enhance local spirit while addressing pressing needs within the community. This year’s participation is expected to be robust, reflecting the town’s commitment to support its residents.
The event not only serves as a holiday celebration but also highlights the importance of local charitable efforts.
