Indian Creek High School revealed its homecoming queen candidates, which include Abbey Pendleton, Cheyenne Himelrick, and others. The winner will be crowned during halftime at the football game against Brooke High School, set to start at 7 p. m. on Friday at Kettlewell Stadium. The selection process involves choosing an odd-colored rose, a unique tradition for the event.

Prior to the game, a parade will commence at 5:30 p. m. from Blessed Sacrament Church, creating a festive atmosphere for the community. This year's homecoming dance will take place on Saturday from 6 p. m.

to 9 p. m. at the Mingo Junction Knights of Columbus Hall, providing an opportunity for students to celebrate. The event highlights the school's spirit and community engagement, fostering pride among students and families. Last year's homecoming queen, Lily McElroy, will crown the new queen, adding a personal touch to the ceremony.
