Brian Fencl unveiled his exhibition “Strange Vases” during an opening reception at the Summit Art Gallery on Thursday. Fencl, who serves as an art professor and director of the Nutting Gallery at West Liberty University, welcomed guests from the Top of West Virginia Arts Council. The event showcased Fencl's unique artistic vision, which blends personal narrative with broader social themes. Attendees expressed appreciation for the poignant subject matter and artistic execution.

The exhibition is scheduled to remain open until October 3, offering the community an opportunity to engage with the art. Fencl’s work emphasizes the importance of personal stories in the art world, especially concerning health issues.
