The Fidelis Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators met at Eat ‘n Park in Weirton on August 7, drawing 14 members. President-elect Donna Durkin opened the meeting, welcoming guests and discussing plans for a Tri-Chapter Christmas Party on December 6, where gift cards will be collected for a drawing. Treasurer Carolyn Allison presented the financial report, detailing the chapter's ending and savings balances. Corresponding Secretary Eileen Snyder reported on the get-well cards sent to members during June and July, reinforcing the chapter's commitment to its members' well-being. Durkin reminded attendees about submitting names for new membership and highlighted the importance of volunteer contributions.

The members celebrated August birthdays, including Durkin and Elaine McClung, fostering a sense of community. The next meeting will occur on September 4, with hostesses Sandra Anderson, Janet Benzo, and Nancy Deters preparing for the event. These gatherings serve to strengthen connections among women educators in the area.
