Suwinski had earlier hit a two-run homer in the seventh, narrowing the Giants' lead from 4-1. Dauri Moreta earned the win by pitching a scoreless inning, showcasing his return after injury. Justin Verlander, who allowed one run in five innings, was unable to secure his 264th career win as the Pirates surged back.
