Sycamore accepting after-school sign-ups

The Sycamore Youth Center in Steubenville has opened registrations for its free after-school enrichment program, which will run from September 22 to December 4, 2025. This initiative is available to students in grades first through 12th, offering 64 classes focused on life skills, creativity, and spiritual development. Classes take place Monday through Friday from 3 p. m. to 5 p.

m. , with additional weekend activities planned. Free transportation will be provided for students traveling from local elementary schools and Harding Middle School. Bobbyjon Bauman, executive director, highlighted the center's mission to inspire confidence and leadership through faith-based programming. Class offerings include Bible studies, arts and crafts, sports skills, and various dance classes.

The Sycamore Youth Center aims to provide more than just after-school activities; it offers mentorship and skill-building experiences. Interested families can register online or by calling the center directly.
