Buckeye Local High School dedicated a memorial bench for Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Kristopher Klubert on July 16. His mother, Valerie Klubert, collaborated with school officials and Randall Gallagher Memorials to create the tribute, which features his name and military emblems. Valerie noted that the bench's location near the school's entrance was significant, as it represented Kris's fondness for the school, where he thrived and made lifelong friends. Klubert had a strong desire to serve, having enlisted in the Navy after considering a career in law enforcement.

The bench serves as a lasting reminder of his dedication and the community's respect for his service.
