Plans for Marland Heights 5K underway

The 29th-annual Marland Heights 5K Classic Run will occur on August 8 at Marland Heights Park, offering a 3. 1-mile run, a 2-mile fitness walk, and a youth fun run for children aged 12 and under. The Youth Fun Run will kick off at 6:30 p. m. , with the main 5K event following at 7 p.

m. Pre-registration costs $25 for adults and $15 for teenagers, available until noon on August 7, while race day fees will increase to $30 and $20, respectively. Participants can register online via a designated link. Water will be provided at the start/finish line and at visible stations along the route to ensure hydration. GCXC Race Timing from Canfield will manage the timing of the race.
