Township earns TAMI Awards

The Woodlands Township Communications Department excelled at the 2025 Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) Awards, drawing 658 entries statewide. The Township won a first-place TAMI Award for The Woodlands Community Magazine, which was commended for its exceptional design and relevance to the community. One judge remarked on the magazine's high-quality production, noting its alignment with the publication's objectives. Furthermore, the Township captured a third-place Award of Excellence for its 50th Anniversary Celebration campaign, which included a series of unique commemorative projects. This yearlong effort involved collaboration with the Parks and Recreation Department and the developer, Howard Hughes.

Township Chairman Brad Bailey stated that the awards reflect the strength of their communications and the dedication of their staff. The magazine serves as a vital outreach tool, reaching over 44,000 households bi-monthly. The TAMI Awards celebrate creativity and public engagement in municipal communications across Texas.
