The ConroeLake Conroe Chamber named finalist for prestigious Chamber of the Year Award

The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce has been named a finalist for the 2025 Chamber of the Year award by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. The award recognizes outstanding performance in chamber operations, member services, and community leadership. ACCE’s President & CEO Sheree Anne Kelly highlighted the finalists’ roles as community partners and problem solvers. Scott Harper, President of the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber, noted that this selection reflects the commitment of the Chamber's leadership and volunteers. To compete, chambers must first meet minimum performance thresholds in areas such as net revenue and membership retention.

The evaluation process involves written applications and interviews with experienced chamber professionals. Finalists are grouped into categories based on various factors to ensure fair competition. Winners will be announced during the ACCE Annual Convention in Philadelphia on July 23.
