Entergy Texas reported that as of May 28, 2025, approximately 2,900 customers in the Conroe area are still without power following severe storms that struck Southeast Texas. The outages peaked at 31,760 customers on Tuesday morning, prompting crews to work overnight to restore power to 1,750 customers. The restoration efforts involve a range of equipment, including bucket trucks and excavators, to address damage from fallen trees and debris. Entergy Texas urges customers to enroll in outage text alerts for timely updates regarding their service. The forecast for more thunderstorms and heavy rain throughout the week may complicate restoration efforts.
