Conroe ISD Board announces Superintendent Search Firm Selection

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees voted 5-2 to select Texans for Excellence in Education (TEE) as the firm to lead the superintendent search after hearing from six candidates. The Board highlighted TEE's strong commitment to community engagement and specialized expertise as key factors in their decision. TEE President John Petree stated that the organization is dedicated to a transparent and community-focused search process. The Board approved the motion to negotiate with TEE, with Walsh Gallegos Kyle Robinson & Roalson P. C.

as a backup option if necessary. The district received eight proposals and invited six firms to present their qualifications. Each firm was allotted ten minutes for presentation, followed by questions from the trustees. Dr. Ted Landry was appointed interim superintendent after former superintendent Dr.

Curtis Null accepted a position with Lake Travis ISD. This decision reflects the district's commitment to a thorough and inclusive hiring process for its next leader.
