The Woodlands Art Gallery & Studios celebrated the Opening Reception for “Dreaming through the Woods” on May 15, showcasing the work of artist and gallery owner Emily P. Chiles. Chiles, who grew up in Midland, Texas, began her artistic journey by painting large stage canvases and later transitioned to creating landscapes using oil paints. This exhibition serves as a Retirement Exhibition for Chiles, who plans to focus on her artwork after concluding her gallery business. The pieces will not be for sale, but Chiles hopes they will tour to inspire joy in various settings, particularly hospitals.

From May 16 to August 15, 2025, the gallery will only accept appointments. The final show at the gallery will feature Adam Hesse's work on June 21, with valet parking and refreshments provided. Chiles encourages art enthusiasts to follow her on social media and visit her website for updates. The Woodlands Art Gallery & Studios opened in December 2021 and continues to contribute to the local arts scene.
