The Woodlands Township is closing pathways at the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and Grogan’s Mill Road from April to December 2025 for significant construction improvements. The Woodlands Road Utility District #1 is spearheading the project to enhance accessibility, safety, and aesthetics in the area. Key features include planting over 400 additional trees and installing an upgraded irrigation system to support new landscaping. Hardscape improvements will also be made, including enhanced lighting, erosion remediation, and decorative walls to improve the area’s appearance. This project commemorates The Woodlands’ 50th Anniversary with a donor-funded sculpture.
