The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra is excited to present “Fairy Tales: LIVE” at Christ Church Methodist, a performance designed to enchant families and introduce children to the world of classical music. The concert will showcase iconic pieces such as Mozart’s overture to “The Magic Flute,” Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf,” and Dukas’ “Sorcerer’s Apprentice. ” Artistic Director Darryl Bayer believes that this concert will ignite the imagination of young attendees while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Students will receive a complimentary Young Artist Sketchbook and colored pencils to inspire creativity during the performance. Bayer emphasizes the importance of engaging younger audiences, often asking thought-provoking questions to encourage their creativity.

The concert is part of the WSO’s mission to connect with multiple generations, ensuring that both the young and the young at heart can enjoy classical music.
