MoriCon, the first-ever anime convention hosted by The Woodlands Township, is scheduled for September 13, 2025, at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. This event promises an exciting day filled with anime culture, cosplay, and community engagement, making it ideal for both seasoned fans and newcomers. Attendees can participate in various activities, including a cosplay contest where creativity knows no bounds and informative panels covering storytelling techniques and fandom discussions. A vendor hall will showcase talented creators and unique anime merchandise, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, the convention will host a J-Fashion Tea Party, offering a delightful afternoon of tea and treats for ages 15 and up.

Early bird tickets are available until April 16, priced at $20 for adults and $15 for youth aged 8 to 17, with free admission for children under 7. With excitement building, the event aims to introduce the local community to the enchanting world of anime. As tickets are limited, attendees are encouraged to secure their participation early.
