The Chevron Championship commits portion of Ticket Sales to support The Woodlands-Area Teachers

Chevron U. S. A. Inc. announced on March 11, 2025, its initiative to donate $5 for each general admission Spectator Pass sold during The Chevron Championship, benefiting local teachers through its Fuel Your School program.

The funds raised will be directed to DonorsChoose, a nonprofit dedicated to facilitating classroom resources for teachers in need. Schools in The Woodlands, Montgomery, and Spring can apply for funding up to $1,000 per project request, promoting educational growth in the community. Chevron's partnership with DonorsChoose has a significant history, having supported over 42,000 teachers and contributed more than $60 million since 2010. The Chevron Championship, scheduled for April 24-27, 2025, will showcase some of the world’s best female golfers competing for the prestigious Dinah Shore Trophy and a share of the $7. 9 million purse.

Alongside watching elite golf, fans can enjoy various ticket options, including complimentary admission for juniors aged 17 and under with an adult ticket. The event also encourages community involvement, inviting volunteers to experience the tournament from unique perspectives. This initiative not only elevates the tournament experience but also reinforces Chevron's commitment to empowering educators and enhancing educational opportunities in local communities.
