MCSO investigates Shooting on Sawdust Road

On November 10, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a shooting call on Sawdust Road, where they found one deceased male and another injured male. The injured male, who is in critical but stable condition, was involved in a relationship with a female witness who previously dated the deceased. Prior to the incident, the deceased had sent threatening text messages to the witness and her current boyfriend. The situation escalated when the deceased broke into the woman’s apartment armed with a pistol and shotgun, leading to an exchange of gunfire. Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are conducting the ongoing investigation, with the case set to be referred to a Grand Jury once completed.

Authorities deemed the incident isolated, assuring the public of no further threat. This incident highlights the dangers of domestic violence and escalating conflicts. The identities of those involved will remain undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
