Traffic Alert for Nov. 6 Woodlands Parkway-Branch Crossing Drive Intersection

The Woodlands, TXLocal News

Montgomery County will initiate intersection improvements at the Woodlands Parkway-Branch Crossing Drive Intersection on November 6, 2025. The enhancements include extending left-turn lanes from southbound Branch Crossing to eastbound Woodlands Parkway and from westbound Woodlands Parkway to southbound Branch Crossing. Daily lane closures will affect traffic on Branch Crossing Drive, impacting both directions for about three weeks. These projects stem from the May 2025 Road Bond Referendum, which voters approved to fund various transportation upgrades. The first round of funding was made available in August 2025, facilitating the commencement of these projects.

In recent months, four intersection improvement projects have been completed, along with several asphalt shoulder replacements. Major projects, such as the Robinson Road widening and Grand Parkway right-turn lane projects, are currently in the design phase. These improvements aim to enhance traffic flow and safety in the area.
