Young Texas Artists Classic Cabaret launches 41st season with celebration, music and exciting announcements

Young Texas Artists (YTA) opened its 41st season with a vibrant Classic Cabaret on October 16, showcasing the talent of distinguished alumni, including Grammy-nominated pianist Petronel Malan. YTA President/CEO Susie Pokorski highlighted the significance of community support, noting it is vital for YTA's ongoing success. The organization is now accepting reservations for its upcoming Bach, Beethoven & Barbecue gala, set for March 14, 2026, at the historic Crighton Theatre. This gala will combine classical music with a lively Texas celebration. During the event, Pokorski announced substantial grants from the City of Conroe and the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Additionally, YTA will collaborate with The Woodlands Diversion, featuring performances by competition winners next year. Malan's performance captivated the audience, and she was honored with a medal for her past achievements. Cellist William Suh also performed, exemplifying the excellence that YTA represents.
