Conroe Symphony Orchestra welcomes the holidays with A Joyous Christmas concert

The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will present its annual “A Joyous Christmas” concert on December 20 at 4:00 p. m. at First Methodist Conroe. This year’s program, directed by Gary Liebst, blends timeless carols with modern compositions, promising an engaging experience for attendees. Highlights include the performance of “Feliz Navidad” featuring the trumpet section and a haunting rendition of “Silent Night” by principal cellist Daniela Aravelo.

Soprano Nancy Curtis, known for her powerful voice, will lead the audience in a sing-along of holiday classics. Liebst notes that the concert serves as a reflection of cherished holiday memories. Additional performances include “The Twelve Gifts of Christmas,” a creative re-imagining of traditional carols. The orchestra encourages both longtime patrons and new community members to attend.
