Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Texas, will host its 13th annual Building Hope Gala on April 25, 2026, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The event, themed Casa de Corazón, aims to celebrate community and philanthropy while raising funds to support local families in need of housing. Tina Rivera, owner of arc electric + lighting, will serve as the Gala Chair, recognized for her significant contributions and leadership within the organization. Last year, the gala set a record by raising over $1 million, and this year, organizers aim to extend that success to provide essential resources for local families. The timing is significant as Habitat MCTX prepares to complete its Cedar Creek neighborhood and shift focus to the new Marble Creek neighborhood, which will accommodate over 200 families.

Steven Lutz, General Manager of BMW of The Woodlands, expressed pride in supporting the gala's mission. Vicki Johnson, Executive Director of Habitat MCTX, emphasized the event's importance in fostering community investment and stability. Community members are encouraged to become sponsors to help realize the dream of homeownership for more families.
