Physician assistant accused of child indecency in The Woodlands

The Woodlands, TXLocal News

Jonathon Edward Brown, a physician assistant in The Woodlands, Texas, faces a suspended medical license following a child indecency arrest. The Texas Physician Assistant Board suspended him after determining he posed a threat to public welfare. Brown was arrested on August 11 for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl, a situation captured on Ring camera footage. Court documents reveal that the inappropriate contact occurred while the two were wrestling and that Brown intended to arouse himself. Highland Woods Health confirmed that Brown last saw patients on August 16, 2022, and has since been a former employee.

His attorney maintains that Brown is innocent and has entered a plea of not guilty. A temporary suspension hearing is scheduled unless waived by Brown. This case highlights ongoing concerns regarding child safety and professional accountability within the medical community.
