LSCMontgomery Theatre Department delivers strong start with Twelve Angry Jurors performance

The Theatre Department at Lone Star College–Montgomery opened its fall semester with a successful presentation of Twelve Angry Jurors from October 2-4, 2025. Adapted by Sherman L. Sergel, the play examines themes of justice, prejudice, and personal bias through the lens of a jury deliberating a murder case. Garret Smith, an acclaimed performer honored with the 2024 Tommy Tune Award, took on the role of Juror No. 3, while Sedric J.

Willis made his debut as Juror No. 9. Willis brings a strong background with over 40 area productions, adding depth to the ensemble. Professor Chase Waites commended the cast, emphasizing their commitment and creativity during the rehearsals. The production received positive feedback from the campus community, contributing to the department's reputation for artistic excellence.

As the season continues, the Theatre Department will present The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time from November 20-22, 2025. This upcoming show promises to further engage audiences and showcase the talent of LSC–Montgomery students.
