City of Conroe Blackfin agrees to relocate the Conroe Compressor Station

Blackfin Pipeline, LLC will relocate the Conroe compressor station following a Temporary Injunction issued by Judge Vince J. Santini in the 457th Judicial District Court. The injunction, resulting from the case Bartholet Properties, LLC vs. Blackfin Pipeline, prohibits construction and pressurization procedures related to the compressor station. The City of Conroe plans to address the rescission of permits for Blackfin Pipeline at an upcoming council meeting scheduled for October 9.

City Administrator Gary Scott expressed gratitude for citizen efforts in opposing the project, emphasizing the importance of community involvement. Blackfin Pipeline has shown willingness to work with city officials to ensure a safer site selection. The relocation decision reflects a commitment to community safety and collaboration.
