The board accepted a financial report indicating a favorable revenue variance of over $4 million, attributed to increased sales tax and unbudgeted contributions.
An update from the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District was also presented, covering groundwater management and conservation strategies. The district aims to balance property rights with the preservation of groundwater resources. This meeting underscored the township's commitment to community awareness and support initiatives.
