Montgomery ISD Education Foundation to Host Inaugural State of the District Victory Breakfast Oct 3

The Montgomery ISD Education Foundation will host its inaugural State of the District Victory Breakfast on October 3, 2025, at 8:00 a. m. at The Montgomery ISD Den, the district's new Career & Technical Education and Agricultural Science centers. Superintendent Dr. Mark Ruffin will present updates and a vision for Montgomery ISD’s future at this catered event sponsored by Two Step Farm.

Tiffany Ortiz, Executive Director, emphasized the importance of community support for teachers, aiming to establish a lasting tradition of this event. Proceeds from the breakfast will directly support the foundation's goal of awarding $125,000 in grants for innovative classroom projects, empowering educators and enhancing student experiences. Following the breakfast, the community is invited to the Mo-Town Showdown football game, where the Montgomery Bears will compete against the Lake Creek Lions at 7:00 p. m. The day is designed to foster local pride and celebrate excellence in education.

This initiative reflects a commitment to investing in the future of Montgomery ISD and its students.
