A Montgomery County jury sentenced Jacob Andrew Willhoite, 37, to life in prison after convicting him of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 14. The trial commenced on September 9, 2025, and concluded with a guilty verdict on September 11, 2025. Testimony from nine witnesses, including the victims, highlighted the horrific abuse that began when one victim was just six years old. Jurors also heard about Willhoite's prior conviction for providing alcohol to his young daughter, alongside testimonies from his ex-wife and fiancé regarding their experiences of abuse. Assistant District Attorney Ann Kuykendall praised the courage of the victims who confronted Willhoite in court, emphasizing that he had already condemned his young victim to a life sentence.

District Attorney Brett Ligon noted that the life sentence serves as both punishment and protection for the community. The investigation, led by Detective Michael Lee, was pivotal in holding Willhoite accountable for his crimes. This case underscores the commitment of law enforcement and the judicial system to protect children from predators.
