The Woodlands Township will host the 28th Annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions on September 27, 2025, from 9 a. m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. This free community event promotes eco-friendly landscaping practices and offers practical gardening tips. Attendees can receive expert advice on gardening, lawn care, and wildlife attraction, with opportunities to bring in plant samples for diagnosis.

Compost classes will occur at 9:30 a. m. , 10:30 a. m. , and 11:30 a.

m. , alongside live music and children’s activities. This event serves as a comprehensive resource for residents interested in sustainable landscaping, featuring booths from local vendors and educational opportunities. The Montgomery County Master Gardener Association and other sponsors support this initiative, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in environmental stewardship. The event also aims to foster local biodiversity by encouraging the use of native plants.
