The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will kick off its new season with the concert "Shall We Dance? " on September 27 at First Methodist Conroe. The program, conducted by Gary Liebst, showcases a variety of dance-inspired music, including Tchaikovsky’s iconic ballets "Swan Lake" and "Sleeping Beauty," as well as the tango classic "El Choclo. " Liebst curated the program to evoke nostalgia and excitement, aiming to connect with both experienced dancers and those who simply enjoy the rhythm. He noted a personal preference for Russian composers for ballet and Argentinian composers for tango.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased online or by calling the box office. The event promises to engage longtime patrons and newcomers alike, with Liebst expressing hope that it will inspire first-time attendees to return. The concert is generously sponsored by the Apricity Foundation, underscoring community support for the arts. "Shall We Dance?
