Interfaith of The Woodlands prepares over 2,500 students for academic success through Kits 4 Kidz Program

The Woodlands, TXLocal News

Interfaith of The Woodlands has announced that over 2,500 Conroe ISD students will begin the 2025–2026 school year equipped with essential supplies through its Kits 4 Kidz program. Each student receives grade-specific school supplies, a brand-new backpack, groceries for their family, and a voucher for back-to-school clothing. This initiative aims to eliminate barriers to success in the classroom, providing students with the tools and confidence needed to thrive. Missy Herndon, President & CEO of Interfaith, highlights the importance of this program for families in crisis who rely on it for their children's educational needs. The financial burden of purchasing supplies can be significant, but Kits 4 Kidz alleviates that pressure, allowing parents to focus on other critical expenses.

Additionally, the program's impact is sustained through the generosity of donors and community volunteers who assist with distribution. Interfaith's mission is to build a more loving and caring community through service, and the Kits 4 Kidz program exemplifies this goal. This initiative is one of many ways Interfaith supports local families, promoting self-sufficiency and dignity.
