St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital dedicated a memorial bench today for Alisa Henley-Sansom, a cherished nurse who recently passed away. The bench, placed in her favorite spot overlooking a tranquil lake, symbolizes her profound influence on the hospital community. Boy Scout Landon Mayhall spearheaded the initiative as part of his Eagle Scout project, ensuring it met all standards while honoring Henley-Sansom's legacy. "It was an honor to create something that will bring comfort and reflection to everyone who knew and loved Alisa," Mayhall stated.

Collaborating closely with Henley-Sansom’s husband, Steve, added a personal touch to the project, as he provided guidance and materials. The hospital aims for the bench to serve as a peaceful retreat for patients, staff, and visitors, fostering quiet contemplation and inspiration. Kristen Taylor, Chief Nursing Officer, expressed deep gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, emphasizing Henley-Sansom's extraordinary compassion. This memorial reflects the community's appreciation for her contributions and aims to provide solace for years to come.
