Project Beacon has been selected for Lowe's Hometowns project, which will fund phase 2 improvements at the Beacon Access Center. The renovations will enhance safety and accessibility by adding durable flooring, improved lighting, and sensory calming spaces. These upgrades are designed to support individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities, aligning with the center's mission to foster independence and community engagement. Lowe's Hometowns is a significant initiative, reflecting a five-year commitment to invest $100 million in community revitalization projects. Earlier this year, Lowe's pledged to deliver 10 million square feet of impact through various community-focused initiatives.

The enhancements at the Beacon Access Center will create a model of accessibility and inclusion. With help from Lowe's associates, this project aims to provide essential support to underserved populations. Such efforts underscore the importance of community spaces as vital hubs for social interaction and support.
