Jason Keating, who co-manages the rink with his wife and sister-in-law, describes the event as a way to thank the community for its support over the decades. The rink has operated in its current location for 40 years, serving as a rite of passage for local youth and families. The Allen family, now in its second generation of management, has built a legacy watching generations of skaters grow up within its walls. Rainbow Roller Rink hosts two roller derby teams and offers skating lessons, showcasing its commitment to promoting roller sports. Additionally, the rink partners with local schools for STEM events and provides economical party packages for community celebrations.

This anniversary event underscores the rink's integral role in Conroe's recreational landscape.
