Montgomery County Sheriffs Office apprehends Burglary Suspects in Traffic Stop

Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cristian Sanchez and Kevin Reynoso on July 16, 2025, after stopping their vehicles for speeding. During the traffic stop, deputies observed new kitchen appliances in the rear of one vehicle, prompting further investigation. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division linked the suspects to multiple burglaries in the Splendora area, leading to their detention. Both Sanchez and Reynoso now face two counts of Burglary of Habitation and have been transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The investigation seeks to uncover the full scope of their activities and the impact on local residents.

Recovered property will be returned to its rightful owners, highlighting the Sheriff's Office's commitment to community safety.
