The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s C. A. R. E. S.

Committee hosted a Hygiene Supply Drive for the Community Assistance Center (CAC) to assist families in financial distress. Since its inception in 1981, CAC has provided essential resources to improve the lives of Montgomery County residents. The committee's next initiative encourages community members to donate gift cards for YES to YOUTH, enabling the purchase of clothing and school supplies for children residing at the BridgeWay Emergency Youth Shelter. Gift cards will be accepted at the Chamber office until August 6, fostering community involvement in local youth welfare. The C.

A. R. E. S. Committee comprises chamber members from various nonprofits and businesses, emphasizing teamwork and community service.

Monthly projects and donation drives aim to support nonprofit members of the Chamber. Additionally, the committee organizes an annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in April to honor local volunteers. The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce remains dedicated to supporting charitable causes and enhancing community life.
