Spokane Police Department (SPD) facilitated a peaceful protest following the Pride Parade on June 14, 2025, engaging with organizers to ensure safety and open communication. The event, held at Riverfront Park, drew thousands, transitioning into a dynamic gathering that required ongoing dialogue between officers and protest leaders. As the evening progressed, SPD issued warnings to keep demonstrators within designated areas, but by 8:00 p. m. , the crowd had significantly diminished.

Dispersal orders were issued around 8:44 p. m. due to continued roadway obstructions, leading to the arrest of 11 individuals for failure to disperse. One arrest involved charges of malicious mischief related to vandalism. SPD Chief Kevin Hall reiterated the department's commitment to balancing the right to protest with community safety.

Despite online rumors, no curfew was in effect, and SPD worked with local businesses to direct foot traffic safely. The event concluded with the majority of participants remaining cooperative, underscoring the successful collaboration between SPD and protest organizers.
