As tensions rose, SPD issued warnings for demonstrators to stay within permitted areas, but by 8:44 p. m.

, dispersal orders were necessary due to continued roadway obstructions. In total, 11 individuals were arrested for failure to disperse, with one facing additional charges for vandalism. SPD utilized non-lethal measures, including inert smoke and pepper balls, to encourage compliance.
