City Closures Planned for Juneteenth

Spokane City Hall will close on Juneteenth, June 19, in observance of the federal holiday honoring the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans. The Spokane Municipal Court, Community Justice Services, all Spokane Public Library branches, and the Development Services Center will also close for the day. While on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment, all parking regulations, including time limits, will still apply. Spokane 311 employees will be available for customer service inquiries via phone and online. Garbage, recycling, and food waste services will maintain their regular schedules, ensuring no disruption in waste collection.

Riverfront Park attractions, including the Looff Carrousel and Numerica SkyRide, will operate normally, as will city golf courses.
