City Closures Planned for Juneteenth
Spokane City Hall will close on Juneteenth, June 19, honoring the federal holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans. Other municipal services, including the Spokane Municipal Court and public libraries, will also be closed. While on-street parking will be free on this day, all parking rules, including time limits, will remain in effect. Garbage, recycling, and food & yard waste services will operate normally, ensuring residents continue to receive essential waste management.
