Suspects in Custody, Two Firearms Recovered, After Early Morning Drive-by Shooting

Spokane police arrested Zachary Gring, 32, and Allie Alderson, 26, after a drive-by shooting occurred early on May 31, 2025, in northeast Spokane. Gring allegedly targeted a residence and vehicle connected to a past incident where he eluded police. Officers recovered two firearms during their investigation, one confirmed as stolen. Alderson fled on foot but was quickly apprehended by nearby officers and booked into Spokane County Jail on several outstanding warrants, including drive-by shooting charges. Gring faces multiple serious charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and domestic violence-related offenses.
