Suspects in Custody, Two Firearms Recovered, After Early Morning Drive-by Shooting

Spokane, WALocal News

Spokane police arrested two suspects, Zachary Gring and Allie Alderson, following a drive-by shooting early this morning. Gring opened fire on a residence and vehicle around 5:30 a. m. in northeast Spokane, causing property damage but no injuries. Officers connected this incident to an earlier event where Gring fled from police, leading to probable cause for his arrest.

After a citizen tip-off, Gring was apprehended without incident, while Alderson was caught nearby. Gring now faces charges including two counts of drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a firearm, with additional charges pending.
